All the Good

Nothing original from yours truly today. However, I came across this quote by John Wesley, founder of the Methodist church, that I thought was well worth posting. It makes me squirm a little because I’m sure there’s more I could be doing. What about you?

Do all the good you can
by all the means you can,
in all the ways you can,
at all the times you can,
to all the people you can,
as long as you can.”
John Wesley

  1. Wish I could take credit for it, but all I did was borrow it from Wesley. It did make me think more about things I could do each day to be helpful. For instance, I’m what you’d call “average tall” (5’6″), and it’s something I don’t think about very much. Yesterday, however, I saw this petite little lady in Wal-Mart trying very hard to reach something on the top shelf, and while I was thinking about helping her, a man came by and easily reached out (didn’t even have to reach up, just out) to get it for her.
